BFME Installer

Play Battle for the Middle-earth on Linux from one guided setup. Installs the community Launcher and Online Arena under Proton.

Install

One command. It installs the 32-bit Flatpak extensions the app needs, then opens the setup wizard.

curl -fsSL https://jgbmichalski.github.io/bfme-installer/install-flatpak.sh | bash

The script is short. Read it first with curl -fsSL https://jgbmichalski.github.io/bfme-installer/install-flatpak.sh.

Update with:

flatpak update

Remove the app and keep your games and setup, so a later reinstall picks up where you left off:

curl -fsSL https://jgbmichalski.github.io/bfme-installer/install-flatpak.sh | bash -s -- --uninstall

Remove the app and also delete its data: the setup, Proton and every installed game. This cannot be undone:

curl -fsSL https://jgbmichalski.github.io/bfme-installer/install-flatpak.sh | bash -s -- --purge
